Not much new

As the title states, not much is new. We've been busy packing up items in the house. We finished about 2 rooms this weekend. Now we've only got 5 more to go (plus the basement and the garage).
I changed the flexible duct in the crawl space that the home inspector said needed to be replaced. I don't know who did the inspection but he wasn't too swift. He listed the duct as having been torn in the past and repaired once. Actually, it was a joint between two pieces of flexible duct that were taped together. The tape failed after several years. Anyway, just to comply with the buyers' request I've replaced the duct. The inspector also mentioned a couple of other issues that were not correct. I can't believe that he didn't know how to open our patio door. I guess that he didn't' care to look at the top of the door where we installed an extra patio door security pin that just pulls out when you want to open the door.
I called the architect again and found that I need a permit to demolish the existing space in the Woodstock building. Prior to that, I need to get an asbestos test. The phone calls will start this week.
