Just another Tuesday in Woodstock
I met with a representative of the health department today. A couple of small changes to the plans, but nothing major.
I met with the assistant town manager today. Apparently I need to have 1.5 parking spaces for every four customers. That is kind of hard with only two parking spaces on site. I guess that I could have seating for 6 people. Anyway, there is a special section of the town code in which the town council can waive that requirement for properties located withing the central business district. Guess what... my property is in the central business district. I met with the street planning council today so they could recommend a waiver to the town council. Everyone seemed very enthusiastic about my plans.
The architect hasn't returned my calls. I 've left 3 messages starting last Friday. Unfortunately, he has the contacts in the county so I need to continue to use him. Hopefully I'll hear from him by this Friday.
